Duterte Appointed Bong Go as chief of Presidential Management Staff

President-elect Rodrigo Duterte’s long-time aide, Christopher “Bong” Go, is set to take on a new role as chief of the Presidential Management Staff.

Aside from heading the PMS, Duterte named Go as special assistant to the President.
His appointment was announced in a press conference in Davao City Thursday (June 2).
Go has been Duterte’s executive assistant since 1998.

He earned the moniker “Pambansang Photobomber” during the campaign season because he was always practically in all the photo and video frames where Duterte was, making sure he never left the outgoing mayor’s side.
