Former Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 1 housemate Aldred Gatchalian has already received the vaccine against C0’VID-19.
Aldred, who was also a former ABS-CBN talent, is now based in the United States.
This Tuesday morning, December 22, Aldred posted on Instagram the process of the first dose of the vaccine — the priming shot.
The second shot, or booster shot, will be given to him after 21 days.
Aldred captions his post by saying, “Received my 1st dose of Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine today at work.”
“I will give you guys an update if I experience any adverse reactions.
“So far, it’s been great! [OK hand sign emoji]” he added.
According to the report, the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine has 95 percent effectiveness.
It is not clear what Aldred’s job is in the US, but it is not far off in the medical field.
Aldred’s batch of PBB Teens are Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.
After his voluntary exit at the PBB house, Aldred became an ABS-CBN actor and made teleserye’s and movies.
His teleserye releases include Crazy for You (2006), Abt Ur Luv (2006-2008), and Ysabella (2007-2008). He also starred in the films My Big Love (2008) and Bente (2009).
This December, the C0’VID-19 vaccine has been administered in the US. Selected healthcare workers and seniors come first in residential care.
Under the US vaccination program, the First World country targets to vaccinate 100 million people by April 2021.
Aside from the US, vaccine roll-outs have also begun in the United Kingdom and Canada.
Aldred Gatchalian is among the pilot housemates in the first-ever teen edition of the Kapamilya network’s Pinoy Big Brother.
He was just 15 years when he joined the said reality show.
