Maria Venus Raj finally speaks up on her reasons why she stopped wearing bathing suits.
Venus was the Philippine representative for Miss Universe during the 59th international competition where she landed in 4th place.
It was also the first time again after many years that Philippines made it to the final Top 5.
However, Venus became one of the most controversial beauty queen here in our country. She was dethroned and was later reinstated as the Miss Universe Philippines 2010 due to her citizenship.
Aside from this, she made herself more famous when her answer during the final Q&A had a slight flap when she said “Major major.”
Venus was born in Doha, Qatar with her Indian father and a Filipina mother. After her Miss Universe journey, she was given an opportunity in showbiz industry.
It can’t be denied that she has the one of the most beautiful physique with her slim body, even tan color and an ideal height for most women.
Actually, many found her so beauty queen enough here in the Philippines as well as abroad.
However, many of her Instagram followers came to noticed that she stopped wearing swimsuits even at the beach. Instead, Venus wears rash guards now.
Explaining her reason why, Venus opened it up in an interview with her.
“You know, I’m getting old. I’ve matured, I’m turning thirty. Hindi siya limitations just because I want limitations,” she said on limiting on what she wears.
Her most reason was biblical saying that she drew closer to God and is basing her outfits based on what bible says.
Venus has given her faith closer to God which gave her spiritual growth.
