Vilma Santos will always be a proud and supporting mother to her son Luis Manzano.
It looks like that the former actress is so happy to see her son finally settling down in life. This is after her son Luis Manzano is finally engaged with Jessy Mendiola.
After more than four years of being together, the couple is finally stepping up their relationship into the next chapter. They recently announced their engagement last December 12.
However, Luis explained through a Facebook live that they have been engaged since October this year. Well, this is their fans have been waiting for many years now.
Since they are still boyfriend and girlfriend, Luis had been vocal that he sees Jessy to be the woman who he will spend the rest of his life with.
Despite of their over ten years gap, Luis and Jessy have not been in a big issue regarding their relationship. As a matter of fact, they repeatedly said that they are willing to marry each other.
Now, it is finally happening! Jessy Mendiola is so soon to be Mrs. Manzano!
With this, the proud mom of Lucky, Batangas Representative Vilma Santos-Recto is so happy and excited that her son is starting his own family very soon.
In an interview of her with ABS-CBN news anchor MJ Felipe, Vilma revealed that Luis sent her a photo of which shows the latter pointing out to the ring that Jessy was wearing.
“Nakita ko, yung mahal niya talaga si Lucky. Mahal niya ang anak ko. Isa sa mga na appreciate ko she’s a very prayerful person, nagro-rosary iyan everyday,” the Star for All Season said.
The proud mom also said that Jessy has a very close relationship with their family. She also sees the bride as a good person who truly loves her son.
Vilma further said that she advised Luis that he should also enjoy family life.
“Lagi ‘kong sinasabi noon kay Lucky, ‘You’re not getting any younger’. Gusto ko ma enjoy niya rin ang family life.”
Meanwhile, the love birds are tying the knots next year.
