Miriam Quiambao and her husband Ardy Roberto are expecting their second child.
Former beauty queen-turned-inspirational speaker Miriam Quiambao took to social media on Wednesday, Dec. 30, to break the news that she’s pregnant once again.
“Please pray for me. I’m positive! Positively pregnant,” declared Quiambao as she shared the good news inside a car with her husband Ardy Roberto.
She also shares a photo of the ultrasound and saying that she was around 8 weeks pregnant.
The couple showed sonograms taken at a hospital on Dec. 26. “Sharing with you this great news before the year 2020 ends.”
Friends in show business and netizens congratulated the couple as they described the second child once again as a “miracle baby.”
The couple said that they weren’t really expecting that Miriam would get pregnant again, but that they had already begun praying and planning for another child.
She said they will know their baby’s gender by next week, during her prenatal test.
“I realized that God does not forget His promises,” Quiambao said. “Imagine, 45 years old na ako, 1% to 2% chances of getting pregnant. Tapos ito wala pang workups, spontaneous pregnancy siya. (Imagine, I’m already 45 years old, so my chances of getting pregnant is only 1% to 2%. This one does not even have workups, it’s a spontaneous pregnancy).”
Miriam was surprised to miss a period in November, though she didn’t experience the other pregnancy symptoms that she had with her first child. Instead, she shared that she felt more lethargic and that she wanted to sleep all the time.
She eventually took a pregnancy test and learned that she was carrying.
The baby is the second biological child for the couple. Quiambao gave birth to a baby boy, Elijah, in February 2019.
