Baron Geisler is taking more than one pill to help him with his mental health condition.
When it comes to mental health issue, our country is not that educated enough about this. Sadly, most of the people are still seeing mental problems as “pag-iinarte.”
Many celebrities as well as social media influencers are trying to explain or shed even a ray of light about this.
Speaking of which, Baron recently opened up about handling his mental health problem.
During his interview with Gladys Reyes in her talk show Moments in Net 25, the actor shared some of the side of his story about his mental health.
Gladys have witnessed the issues that Baron got into in the past so she is happy seeing the actor being in good life now.
“Hindi alam ng karamihan na pumupunta ako sa places sa mga probinsiya at kinakausap namin ang lay people, ine-educate namin about mental health.
“When we talk about mental health, it doesn’t mean we talk about the illness… we talk about how to avoid the illness…”
The 38-year-old actor is an active and vocal advocate as mental health warrior of Philippine Mental Health Association Cebu Chapter.
According to Baron, he is still taking his medications for his mental health situation.
“Napakamahal ng gamot, umaabot po ‘yan ng P150 ang isang tableta. Kung iisipin mo ‘yan, itong mga taong ito, hindi nila ma-afford,” he said asking the government to lower the price of the medicines.
At this point, he revealed that he is taking three medicines a day.
“May kamahalan talaga dahil hindi lang isa ang gamot na iniinom ko, tatlo!”
Meanwhile, Baron is now living a good life with his wife Jamie Evangelista and their baby girl Talitha.
