Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney has revealed that he no longer complies with autograph requests.
In a new interview, the 79-year-old icon explained the reason why.

“It always struck me as a bit strange,” he told Reader’s Digest (via Contact Music). “‘Here, can I write your name down on the back of this till receipt, please?’ Why? We both know who I am.”
“What you’ve usually got is a ropey photo with a poor backdrop and me looking a bit miserable,” he said. “Let’s chat, let’s exchange stories.”
Several celebs have a similar stance, and one instituted a no photos policy a few years ago and explained their reasoning why.
