Daniel Craig was turned into a meme following his appearance on Saturday Night Live in March 2020, when The Weeknd was the musical guest.
The 53-year-old actor was on the show back then to promote the release of his final James Bond movie, No Time to Die. The release date was delayed by more than a year and a half due to the pandemic and it will finally be released in theaters on October 8.
To introduce the entertainer’s performance, Daniel said, “Ladies and gentlemen, The Weeknd.” Now, every Friday, a Twitter account tweets out the video to usher in the weekend.
Daniel just learned about the meme in an interview to promote the 007 film.

After being told about the meme, he told The New York Times, “It’s amazing. I don’t know what that is, but thank you. That’s lovely. I suppose I’d have to have social media to know what that was all about.”
This past week, Daniel made an extremely rare red carpet appearance with his daughter.
