Ed Sheeran is becoming a mentor!
The 30-year-old “Bad Habits” singer-songwriter is joining The Voice as a mega mentor, starting on October 25, Deadline confirmed Thursday (October 5).

Ed will be taking part in the Knockout Rounds after the Battle Rounds, in which contestants will go up against a teammate, choosing their own song to perform while their competitor watches.
Ed will be supplying his experience with songwriting, musical production, and performing to mentor the contestants with their vocal and technical choices, and will also tailor the songs to their strengths to improve each performance.
Coaches Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, John Legend and Blake Shelton will choose the winner from their team to advance to the Live Playoffs, with one steal opportunity in the Knockouts.
