'Lightyear' Teaser's 24-Hour Views Are the Second Highest for a Pixar Movie Ever!

Everyone wants to know more about Lightyear!

The Toy Story spinoff debuted its first teaser trailer on Wednesday (October 27), and it’s already amassed an insane amount of views.

The trailer for the Chris Evans-voiced movie has 83 million views in its first 24 hours, Deadline reported.

That beats the 24-hour traffic of teasers for Cruella (71M), Toy Story 4 (62M), Soul (32M) and Luca (28MM), and even Eternals, which had 77 million global views after its first trailer in May. Eternals still has the most-watched trailer for a Disney-Marvel movie during the pandemic.

The only movie it’s second behind is Incredibles 2 (114MM).

Lightyear opens over Father’s Day weekend on June 17, 2022.
