The new Peacock series One of Us is Lying premieres this week and we caught up with actor Cooper Van Grootel to learn more about him!
The Aussie actor stars in the highly anticipated series based on Karen M. McManus’s New York Times best-selling novel. One of Us is Lying is the story of what happens when five high schoolers walk into detention and only four make it out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.
Cooper can currently be seen in the Netflix movie Go Karts and he’ll soon be seen in the thriller No Running.

- I love to boogie, even though I have two left feet lol, but a good dance is always a fun time
- You can catch me on any given Sunday at a local cafe having coffee and brunch with friends.
- I own a Canon AE-1 camera. This model came out in 76′, super old school. I really enjoy shooting on film…can’t beat it!
- I currently have 3 tattoos and I am looking to invest in a fourth one, not sure what it will be yet, any ideas? :)
- Back In Black is one of my most favorite rock albums. AC/DC gets me hyped up before going for a surf or working out.

The series premiere of One of Us is Lying will debut on Peacock on October 7.
