The Broadway musical Six will FINALLY have its opening night this weekend and new photos from the production have been released.
For those who don’t know, the musical was hours away from celebrating its opening night performance on March 12, 2020 when every Broadway show was forced to shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It has been more than 18 months since the show had to abruptly go on pause and now the opening night is finally here.
In Six, the wives of Henry VIII take the mic to reclaim their identities out of the shadow of their infamous spouse—remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a celebration of 21st century girl power.
Pictured from left to right in the main photo, Abby Mueller (Jane Seymour), Samantha Pauly (Katherine Howard), Adrianna Hicks (Catherine of Aragon), Andrea Macasaet (Anne Boleyn), Brittney Mack (Anna of Cleves), and Anna Uzele (Catherine Parr) will get their moment to shine on Sunday night, October 3.
The musical is now running at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in New York City.
