The movie, set to open in the United States on October 8, is now the first of the pandemic era to pass the $100 million mark overseas without China.
The film brought in $11.4 million on Saturday (October 2) in the U.K. and Ireland, marking the highest box office single day for any Bond movie, and the highest single day of the pandemic era. It’s now expected to have one of the best three-day weekends of the entire Bond franchise.
It also broke Imax records, including the best opening weekend for a Bond film in 24 countries.
Daniel Craig recently opened up about the possibility that another star could be in line for the role of James Bond.
