“These adjustments are born out of conversations we have all the time here on staff, much like the conversations you, our dear opinionated reader, have as well. They are hypothetical, which is to say, not canon, but rather a fun little diversion,” the company said.

Some of their picks include Prince‘s Musicology, which went from 5.8 to 7.8, and GrimesMiss Anthropocene, which went down from 8.2 to 6.9.

They also re-ranked Lana Del Rey‘s massive debut Born To Die, going from 5.5 to 7.8, and Daft Punk‘s Discovery, from 6.4 to 10. They also brought the band’s Random Access Memories down from 8.8 to 6.8.

Plus, they rated Charli XCX‘s Vroom Vroom EP a 7.8, up from their previous 4.5 rating. Fans have been sounding off with their reactions on social media ever since. Charli also responded with a simple reaction: “Lol.”
