'That '70s Show' Sequel Series Ordered by Netflix, Two Original Stars Confirmed to Return

Netflix has ordered the new series That ’90s Show, which will be a sequel series for the hit Fox sitcom That ’70s Show.

10 episodes of the multi-cam sitcom series have been ordered and two original stars are confirmed to return for the new episodes.

Original series creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner and their daughter Lindsey Turner will serve as the writers and executive producers. Gregg Mettler, who is a That ’70s Show alum, will serve as the showrunner.

Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will return as parents Red and Kitty Forman.

Variety reports that in the new series, “it’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place, WI, kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.”

Some of the famous stars who got their starts on That ’70s Show include Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama, and Danny Masterson.
