Denzel Washington Is Out for Blood in the New Trailer for 'The Tragedy of Macbeth'

Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand are looking for revenge in the new trailer for The Tragedy of Macbeth!

A new trailer for the AppleTV+ movie dropped on Friday (November 27), featuring a first look at Joel Coen‘s adaptation of the Shakespeare play.

The clip shows Denzel walking down a hallway as he pulls out a knife.

“Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a knell. That summons thee to heaven or to hell,” he says, before approaching Duncan in his sleep and stabbing him with the knife.

The film marks Joel Coen‘s first solo effort without his brother Ethan. It also stars Bertie Carvel, Alex Hassell, Corey Hawkins, Harry Melling, Brendan Gleeson, Kathryn Hunter and Moses Ingram.

The Tragedy of Macbeth is set to premiere in theaters on Christmas Day and will be released on Apple TV+ on January 14, 2022.
