Heather Thomson Slams 'Real Housewives of New York City', Claims Storylines Are 'Fake' & 'Forced'

Heather Thomson is calling out The Real Housewives of New York City.

Page Six writes that while the former reality star was posing for a Post photographer, she shared her unfiltered thoughts on the long-running Bravo franchise.

Heather reportedly told photographers she had “reached the end of the road” with RHONY.

“I went to the show because [producers say they] want to empower women, but at the end of the day they actually do the total reverse of that,” she said. “They’re showing women behaving badly, and at each other’s throats.”

She went on to say that she no longer wants to participate in the “machine” of the show and claimed that she had heard her castmate, Ramona Singer, make an allegedly racist comment.

A source had previously told Page Six that Ramona had said, “This is why we shouldn’t have black people on the show,” in reference to new cast member Eboni K. Williams. Ramona denied making the comment in a statement to Page Six and referred to the allegations as a “terrible lie.”

However, Heather alleges that she was there when Ramona made the comment.

“I was there and I heard Ramona say that and I freaked out,” she told reporters. “Bravo said there was an investigation. To my knowledge, they’ve never offered or required unconscious bias or sensitivity training to the cast or producers on the show ever. I was never asked. Do they know and care about the effects [the show] has? It’s nonsense. They are not interested in people, they are interested in money.”

When asked if she thought Ramona had “an issue with people of diversity,” Heather responded: “What do you think?”

Heather appeared as a main cast member on the hit Bravo reality show in seasons five through seven, but has continued making guest appearances on the show.

She returned as a guest on the most recent season and alleged that she was “assaulted” during filming earlier this year.

It was announced back in September that the reunion for RHONY‘s latest season had been cancelled. In a new interview, cast member Luann de Lesseps addressed the cancellation and speculation about the future of the show.
