Mickey Guyton is sharing another update about her 9-month-old son’s health.
Earlier this week, the country-music singer revealed that her son Grayson had been taken to the ICU after a health scare.
In an interview with Today‘s Al Roker on Thursday (November 25), she said that while performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was definitely a “pinch me” moment, she was excited to go back home to spend time with her family for the holiday.

“He’s doing so much better,” Mickey said. “He’s out [of the hospital]. He’s home with my husband right now. As soon as the parade’s done I’m getting on a flight to be back with him for Thanksgiving.”
She added, “I’m just thankful for family. I’m thankful for my son. This is my first Thanksgiving as a mom, and that’s just changed my life. So I’m really thankful for that, and family and life.”
Mickey had previously revealed that her son, who she shares with husband Grant Savoy, had been struggling with dehydration from a “severe stomach bug.”
