Starz has unveiled the new opening credits for the upcoming season six of Outlander.
In honor of Thanksgiving, the network gave fans the gift of seeing the new credits for the first time, sharing a sneak peek of what’s to come for Jamie and Claire Fraser (played by Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe).
The credits feature a new version of the “Skye Boat Song” by Raya Yarbrough and Griogair Labhruidh.
Season six is said to be based on Diana Gabaldon‘s “A Breath of Snow and Ashes” in the novel series.
The season will also have just eight episodes, down from the 12-16 episodes offered in the previous seasons. The show has already been renewed for a seventh season, which will be double in size at 16 episodes.
Outlander will return on Starz on March 6.
