Sofia Boutella to Star in Zack Snyder's New Sci-Fi Adventure 'Rebel Moon'

Deadline writes that the actress has joined the cast of Zack Snyder‘s new sci-fi adventure Rebel Moon.

The outlet writes that Rebel Moon “is set in a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. They dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand the Tyrant.”

The film is said to be inspired by Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa and Star Wars.

The movie will debut on Netflix and is a follow-up to Zack‘s zombie epic Army of the Dead.
