You may have noticed that Tyra Banks‘ name has been trending on Twitter and we have the answer as to why.
A former America’s Next Top Model contestant, Sarah Hartshorne, who competed on season 9 of the show, was asked a question on Twitter about the low wage contestants were allegedly paid and her answer was shocking.

It all started when a fan posted on Twitter, “The fact that girls on ANTM were getting paid $40 an episode and Tyra and them judges were making BANK, is kinda sick.”
A fan then tagged Sarah and asked, “@sarahhartshorne this for real???” to which she responded, “$40 a day, no residuals, and we had to pay for food.”
She also replied in the form of a quote tweet so it would reach more Twitter users.
