Some new stars are joining The Weeknd‘s new show!
According to Variety, six actors have been added the cast of the 31-year-old music superstar’s series, The Idol, which he co-created with Euphoria‘s Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim.

Juliebeth Gonzalez, Maya Eshet, Tyson Ritter, Kate Lyn Sheil, Liz Sierra and Finley Rose Slater have been cast in the show, which is currently in production.
The Idol, set against the backdrop of the music industry, centers on a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult, who develops a complicated relationship with an up-and-coming pop idol. The series will be directed by The Girlfriend Experience‘s Amy Seimetz and it will be filmed in and around Los Angeles.
