Simon Leviev, the subject of Netflix’s new documentary The Tinder Swindler, is telling his side of the story.
Simon has been accused of posing as a wealthy, jet-setting diamond mogul in order to pursue women on Tinder and then allegedly con them out of money.
He was convicted of fraud, forgery and theft in 2019, but only served five months of his 15-month sentence. He reportedly still has warrants out in Europe and has been hiding out in Israel.
Simon is sitting down for a two-part interview with Inside Edition, where he’ll share his thoughts on the way he was portrayed in Netflix’s doc.

“I’m not a ‘Tinder Swindler,’” Simon says a trailer for the interview.
“I was just a single guy that wanted to meet some girls on Tinder,” he added. “I’m not this monster.”
The clip also introduces viewers to Simon‘s “new model girlfriend” and explores “why she is sticking with him” despite the allegations.
