This year, the 2022 Super Bowl is airing on NBC and the network announced that all the 30 second commercial slots were sold out.
Now, it has been revealed the exact cost to buy a 30 second ad slot this year.

This year, it cost major brands $7 million just to buy the ad time. This does not include production costs, paying talent, etc.
The big game is watched by roughly 100 million viewers, so the opportunity to grow as a business is immense.
CNN estimates that NBC has made $500 million just from ad sales alone this year, not including the coverage before and after the game, too. The 2021 game brought in $434.5 million in ad revenue, for comparison.
