Isabel Torres has sadly died.
The Spanish actress, perhaps best known for starring in the hit TV series Veneno, passed away due to lung cancer at the age of 52, her official Instagram account confirmed on Friday (February 11).

“Today, February 11, 2022, we say goodbye to Isabel,” the statement says in Spanish.
“Although her family and friends feel her loss deeply, we know that wherever she goes, she will have fun as only she knows how. Thank you for all the messages of affection and concern. She has left feeling very loved and supported.”
Last year in November, she had shared a video on social media revealing that doctors told her she only had two months to live.
Isabel played the iconic Cristina Ortiz in Veneno, and was diagnosed with lung cancer in the middle of filming.
Our thoughts are with Isabel Torres‘ loved ones at this difficult time.
We have sadly lost many stars already in 2022.
