Now, fans are already wondering about Season 2.
While the second season has not yet been confirmed, Pachinko creator and EP Soo Hugh spoke to ScreenRant about expectations for a follow-up – and she revealed how long the series will run!
“The show is four seasons long, so it was never supposed to be a limited series. So the idea is we’re going to watch these characters grow up as well, so that storyline is coming,” she said of a character from the book that hasn’t appeared in the series yet.
“I think there’s no way you can tell the story just in eight episodes; it’s impossible. To do it full justice, and to fall in love with the characters and really understand what they live through, it has to be the whole spectrum.”
We’ll be watching for an official announcement about Season 2, hopefully soon!
