Dwayne Haskins has sadly died at the age of 24.
ESPN reporter Adam Schefter confirmed that the Steelers quarterback had died in a statement posted to Twitter on Saturday morning (April 9).

“Dwayne Haskins, a standout at Ohio State before becoming Washington’s first-round pick and playing in Pittsburgh, died this morning when he got hit by a car in South Florida, per his agent Cedric Saunders. Haskins would have turned 25 years old on May 3,” he wrote.
A former Ohio State quarterback, Dwayne became a first-round draft pick in Washington and signed with the Redskins in 2019. He went on to join the Pittsburgh Steelers before the 2021 season.
