Johnny sued Amber in 2019 over an op-ed published in the Washington Post, in which she alluded to allegations she had made against him in the past and said she had become “a public figure representing domestic abuse.”
Johnny responded with a $50 million dollar claim, though Amber did not name Johnny in the piece or detail any of the alleged abuse. She subsequently filed a $100 million counterclaim.
The Pirates of the Caribbean stars’ legal team began Thursday’s proceedings by calling orthopedic hand surgeon Dr. Richard Gilbert to the stand. He testified that he thought Johnny‘s wounded finger was severed by a “sharp laceration.”
Johnny has claimed he lost the finger when Amber threw a vodka bottle at his hand during an argument in 2015.
Deadline writes that Amber will be the final witness in the trial. Johnny gave his final testimony on Wednesday, where he referred to his time in court as “ridiculous, humiliating, painful, savage, unimaginably brutal and cruel” as well as claimed that everything that’s been said about him has been “false.”
On Wednesday, jurors also heard from Johnny‘s ex-girlfriend Kate Moss. Find out what she said here…
