Nene Leakes is addressing her ongoing lawsuit against Bravo and NBC.
Last month, it was announced the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum was suing the networks, alleging they fostered and tolerated a hostile and racist work environment.
In a new interview with TMZ, Nene shared more details about why she decided to file the suit.

“I’ve been blacklisted,” she told the outlet. “If you haven’t worked in more than three years when all of a sudden you’re working and sought after, then suddenly you’re not working, it’s being blacklisted. I haven’t caused any problems on any sets. Everybody I’ve ever worked with, I’ve had a good work relationship with except for this group of people.”
Nene was asked if she was looking for compensation from the lawsuit and she said that while she “couldn’t speak on that,” claims she was angling for a new show of her own on the network were “so ridiculous.”
The reality star added, “We’re talking about discrimination, we’re not talking about a show,” she told the outlet. “It has nothing to do with having a temper tantrum and wanting a show. I never wanted my own show. I mean, I had many opportunities to have one — that’s not it. It’s discrimination, that’s what it is.”
