Rose Byrne recently had a big revelation about her role in the Star Wars universe.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night (May 26), the 42-year-old actress shared that she didn’t realize she was in one of the series’ prequels until her partner Bobby Cannavale introduced the movies to her kids last week.

“Right now is like the 20 year anniversary of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, and you were in this movie,” host Jimmy Kimmel said as he held up a still from the film. “There you are right there.”
He then asked what Rose remembered about making the movie and she replied, “Well, it was amazing. It was shot in Australia, it was many years ago… It was wild.”
But when Jimmy asked if she considered herself a “Star Wars person,” the actress shook her head no. Rose added that she hadn’t realized she was in a prequel until Bobby showed their two kids, Rafa and Rocco, the movie.
“What do you mean you didn’t know you were in a prequel?” Jimmy asked.
“Well, I thought that the Stars Wars enterprise started from the Princess Leia,” she explained as Jimmy looked shocked. She added, “I think I forgot.”
Rose insisted that the Star Wars timeline was a “little bit confusing,” but Jimmy was adamant that it was not.
