Chris Rock is making some jokes about the infamous incident between him and Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars.
While performing at the latest show on his Chris Rock Ego Death tour on Friday night (July 29), the 57-year-old comedian made a series of jokes about being slapped by the actor at the annual awards event.

“Everybody is trying to be a f—ing victim. If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims,” Chris said during his set, per CNN. “Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith … I went to work the next day, I got kids.”
He later joked, “Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.”
Back in March, Will stormed the stage and slapped Chris after he made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith‘s expense.
A month later, the Academy announced that Will had been banned from its membership for 10 years because of the slap. He had previously resigned prior to the announcement.
Will broke his silence about the situation in a video posted earlier on Friday, in which he apologized for his behavior and revealed whether Jada had instructed him to do something. He also addressed where he stands with Chris today.
