Nicolas Cage is back on the red carpet after welcoming a baby girl!
The 58-year-old actor stepped out for the premiere of his new movie Butcher’s Crossing held during the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival on Friday evening (September 9) at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.
Joining Nic at the premiere was his co-star Rachel Keller.
Just two days earlier, Nic and wife Riko Shibata welcomed a baby girl named August Francesca.
While at TIFF, Nic joked that he went “straight to the airport” after his daughter’s birth.

“I literally just left the hospital and got on a plane, and came here. The deal was: ‘Look, if my daughter has not arrived yet, then I’m not going, but tell them I most likely will go,’” Nic told People.
“I would not have been here, but I kept my word, and I’m here honoring my commitment,” Nic added. “But I’m looking forward to getting back to my wife and my daughter.”
Baby August joins Nic‘s two sons – Weston, 31, and Kal-El, 16, from previous relationships.
Now that his daughter’s here, Nic said he’s interested in making movies that she will enjoy.
“I want to make some movies that will bring a smile to her face and some laughter, absolutely,” Nic said. “Some more animated movies perhaps — show her some Croods 1, Croods 2…”
