Katie Holmes has an Off Broadway show in the works.
The 43-year-old Dawson’s Creek alum signed on to star in the New York run of Anna Ziegler‘s The Wanderers, according to Deadline.
She’s set to play the role of Julia Cheever, and the role is on the nose as the character is also a movie star. The rest of the cast has yet to be announced; Barry Edelstein has taken on directing duties.

The Wanderer will begin preview performances on January 26, 2023 in Laura Pels Theater. The official premiere is set for February 16, and the show’s run is scheduled to end on March 26 of the same year.
This will not be the first time Katie has had a role onstage. She made her Broadway debut in 2008′s All My Sons and returned to the stage for 2012′s Dead Accounts.
In case you forgot, Katie‘s daughter Suri Cruise had a special role in her movie Alone Together.
