Ansel Elgort and his longtime girlfriend Violetta Komyshan have broken up. They dated for nearly a decade and were high school sweethearts.
It’s unclear when the split actually happened, but the 26-year-old dancer confirmed she’s no longer in a relationship with the 28-year-old actor.

Violetta revealed to E! News that she’s “single.” About her single status, she shared, “I think it’s fun.” She added about a message to other women, “Focus on your work and your passions. I’m 26, so right now is the age to push ahead and focus on that—on yourself.”
In 2020, Ansel faced a sexual assault allegation which he did release a statement about at the time. It appears as if he and Violetta continued their relationship through 2021, as that was their last appearance together.
In 2019, their relationship was subject to a lot of speculation after he commented about wanting to feel free to fall in love with other people.
