Jennifer Aniston‘s father, Days of Our Lives star John Aniston, has sadly passed away at the age of 89.
The 53-year-old actress revealed the news in an Instagram post, explaining that he passed on November 11.

Jennifer wrote, “Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now 🕊️I’ll love you till the end of time💔.”
She concluded her post with, “Don’t forget to visit.”
John was well known for his work on Days of Our Lives, portraying Victor Kiriakis. He was honored in June with a Daytime Emmys Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on the soap opera.
Jennifer just spoke about her family life, including her estrangement with her mom, in a new interview.
