Selma Blair is sharing about what her longtime friendship with fellow actress Christina Applegate is like.
The 50-year-old Cruel Intentions actress was diagnosed with MS in 2018, while the 50-year-old Married with Children actress was diagnosed with MS in 2021.

“I’ve known Christina for so many years, we’re really close, and I’m just a fan of hers,” Selma told ET after the finale of DWTS.
“She is an iconic California girl actress of my generation, and she is it,” Selma continued. “There has not been one thing that she’s done that I haven’t been like, ‘Nailed it,’ and she’s nailing just being who she is with this MS.”
“If you need something she’s at your house. There have been things that I had been unglued, and she’s like, ‘I’m outside. Answer the door.’ She’s just amazing and strong and fun,” Selma said.
Last month, Selma announced she would leave Dancing with the Stars due to ongoing bone trauma from her MS diagnosis.
Earlier this month, Christina received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which also marked her first public appearance since her MS diagnosis.
