The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that there is a whodunit taking place on the LA-based soap. Two unfortunate deaths took place in recent days at Il Giardino: Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers).
Both men OD’d on the same drug and known murderer Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was a prime suspect. In the July 22 episode, it was learned that Sheila was released from police questioning, but that could have been a ruse to get her to do something that implicates herself.

Then again, Sheila has a doppelgänger, “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown). She has caused mayhem in Sheila’s life before, so it’s not a stretch to think that she could be messing things up from beyond the grave!
Not too long ago, Sugar led Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to believe that she was Sheila, who had come to attack her. Steffy stabbed Sugar and she was cremated.
If you recall, the crematorium attendant, Carl Ferret (Sean Whalen), took a call on the day that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was present.
Does Sugar Have an Accomplice?
There is no way to rule out Carl talking to Sugar’s accomplice. The perfect accomplice might be Sheila’s daughter, Diana Carter.
There is precedent for Sugar and Diana to connect. When Diana was little, Sugar helped Sheila to run off with the baby.
Diana is an adult now and could harbor a grudge against her mom for putting John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) on a pedestal instead of her.
B&B spoilers: Is Diana In The Background?
It’s more than plausible that Diana could have formed an alliance against Sheila with Sugar. Consider this: Tom was the one who told Deacon and Finn where Sheila was being kept.
If Diana was behind the kidnap, she would be livid at Tom. Which means she had a motive for his murder. Hollis discovered Tom’s backpack and was stunned at the letters he found inside, presumably spilling a hint that someone would kill to keep secret, perhaps the identity of the real killer
If Diana is trying to ruin Sheila, framing her for murder would be a good way to do so.

It should be noted that there are other characters who are suspects in these deaths: Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), Jack Finnegan (Ted King), and Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) are acting strangely.
