Jordan burst onto the soapy scene as Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) aunt. Zenk’s diabolical character was later revealed to be the aunt of Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), and Claire was her great-niece. Erin’s character is also Cole’s, and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) long-lost child is also Cole and Victoria’s long-lost child, Eve.

Jordan’s grudge against the Newmans centered on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki. Zenk’s demented character chose to believe that Nikki interfered in her sister, Eve Howard’s (Margaret Mason) relationship with Victor.
Eve never meant anything to the Moustache. Viewers needed to have been fans for more than three decades to possibly recall who Mason’s character was because she died in 1993.
Her death was not Victor’s fault. But Jordan blamed him for that, which was the basis of stealing Eve at birth, raising the girl as her own, and plotting the long-term murder scheme. Its failure eventually led to Jordan’s pairing with Ian Ward (Ray Wise).

Zenk is known by soap opera fans for being part of the ATWT cast. She played Barbara Ryan in Oakdale, Illinois, from the late 1970s through the show’s end in 2010.
Ryan’s Hope is another steamer that daytime devotees fondly remember. Zenk’s first role in show business came on that show in 1978 when she portrayed a nurse in one episode. The actor has also appeared in various other television shows and movies during her career.
One of the many great elements of the soap genre is the closeness viewers feel with actors. Zenk debuted on Y&R in late 2023 for her first run. Her second run began in the latter part of 2024 and concluded in early 2025.
The common link between Zenk’s long run on ATWT, during the heart of her entertainment career, and her shorter one on Y&R is simple. Applied talent helps to define greatness in any line of work. Let it always be said that Zenk is a great actor, with Jordan reminding soap fans of that timeless point.
