The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Colleen Zenk Deserves An Emmy – Jordan’s Run Ranks With The Greatest

Colleen Zenk

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Colleen Zenk (Jordan Howard) delivered a memorable performance. Hopefully, she will submit her name for nomination and be awarded a Daytime Emmy Award.

Y&R has endured as one of the last remaining daytime dramas because of all involved behind the scenes and in front of the camera. The casting choice to hire Zenk, late of the beloved As the World Turns, was inspired.

Jordan burst onto the soapy scene as Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) aunt. Zenk’s diabolical character was later revealed to be the aunt of Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), and Claire was her great-niece. Erin’s character is also Cole’s, and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) long-lost child is also Cole and Victoria’s long-lost child, Eve.

Devoted viewers suspected something was in the air when Cole returned to the cast—seeing Eve magically reappear as a twenty-something woman who was Cole and Victoria’s never-dead daughter was a shocker.

This creative use of the show’s ancient history allowed Zenk to enter the scene. And enter it she did most dramatically.

Jordan brainwashed Eve to believe she was Claire, a girl who had been abandoned by her parents and the rich and powerful Newman family.

Claire worked with Jordan to convince Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that was abandoned by her parents and the rich and powerful Newman family. Claire worked with Jordan to convince Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to believe she was only an energetic personal assistant.

Eventually, Claire lured Nikki and the Newmans to the cottage, where Jordan attempted to kill them and her nephew Cole.

Jordan’s grudge against the Newmans centered on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki. Zenk’s demented character chose to believe that Nikki interfered in her sister, Eve Howard’s (Margaret Mason) relationship with Victor.

Eve never meant anything to the Moustache. Viewers needed to have been fans for more than three decades to possibly recall who Mason’s character was because she died in 1993.

Her death was not Victor’s fault. But Jordan blamed him for that, which was the basis of stealing Eve at birth, raising the girl as her own, and plotting the long-term murder scheme. Its failure eventually led to Jordan’s pairing with Ian Ward (Ray Wise).
