The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) believes she and her husband are solid. But the audience knows this marriage isn’t resting on a concrete base because of the coming reveal.
Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), like her paternal grandmother, tried to kill Steffy. Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) shot Steffy intentionally on her second shot. Viewers recall that Sheila tried to pump a first bullet into her daughter-in-law but that John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) stepped in front of it.
Steffy has no idea that Finn is about to drop information heavier than Sheila, his biological mother. He’s going to tell his wife that the woman who kept her in a cage and intended to leave her in it to die is not his cousin but his daughter.
Poppy Nozawa’s Reckless Life Repercussions
Finn believed that his adoptive aunt, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), was important to his life. They’ve kept it a secret since he was eighteen years old.
The experience they shared led to Luna’s birth, which Poppy denied at the time and most recently. Finn is furious that she denied him the right to know his child because of what Luna became, meaning a double murderer.
Poppy’s reckless lifestyle was something her older sister, Finn’s mother, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), railed against for many years. But just when Li decided that she’d been wrong about Poppy because of the negative paternity test Jack Finnegan (Ted King) was forced to take, Matsuda’s character will be proven right.
John Finn Finnegan Knows What’s Right
Finn is vehement. He’s rejecting Poppy’s repeated pleas that he doesn’t tell Steffy that Luna is their child.
Poppy isn’t being entirely selfish or untruthful about her decision not to pursue Luna’s paternity after she learned about the pregnancy. She’s right when saying that Finn’s reveal will create massive upheaval that could threaten his marriage. Poppy is also honest about not knowing that Finn is the father.
But Finn faces today’s reality where he confirmed that Luna is his daughter. He also knows that Steffy deserves to know this jarring truth for many reasons, including the link to Sheila.
Luna Nozawa Living In A Controlled World
Ironically, Luna lived in a world her mother controlled, and Yamada’s character is now temporarily benefiting from Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) doing the same. Of course, Bill’s intentions are purely compassionate, though misguided.
Luna’s mother would likely have told her about Finn if she were still in prison. If Poppy hadn’t mustered the guts to do so, Finn would have relayed that information when he visited Luna, but she wasn’t there.
Soap fans are savvy and see the convergence coming, where Luna’s transferred sentence meets Finn’s desire to tell his daughter who he is. Remy Price’s (Christian Weissman) intriguing reemergence and arrival at Bill’s mansion throws a soapy joker into this engaging storyline where Luna’s world will soon spin.
