Alaskan Bush People stars Bear Brown and his wife Raiven raise three sons: River, Cove, and Everest. This weekend, they celebrated a birthday for River. Bear posted photos on social media, including a family picture and throwbacks of his boy. One photo showed Bear teaching River to swim.

A Birthday Message For River

Bear wrote, “Happy Birthday to my first born River! Today he turned 5 years old! It’s hard to believe! Time is going by much too fast! River is so smart and such a sweet boy! Happy Birthday kiddo!”

Many Alaskan Bush People fans think River’s the best thing that ever happened for Bear. He settled down and started taking parenting seriously after he and Raiven made up their differences. So, they responded with birthday wishes.

The Road To A Good Realtionship

The oldest son of the Discovery stars was born in 2020, Cove in 2023, and Everest in 2024. Although Everest was born without complications,  he went into a hospital in December with pneumonia.

However, Raiven and Bear Brown didn’t just fall in love and live happily ever after. They had an on-again-off-again relationship for years. Raiven eventually conceded that the best way was to make compromises for the good of their family.

Certainly, it seems to be working for the Alaskan Bush People stars. These days, Ami Brown gets to enjoy her grandchildren in Washington.

Will River Grow Up In Alaska?

There was talk by Bear Brown that he would relocate to Alaska and convert a bus to live in. However, that was delayed when Raiven Brown fell pregnant with Everest.

Plus, Ami has been ill with pneumonia again. Perhaps once Everest gets a bit older, and when his grandma is back on her feet, little River will get to explore the wilderness that his dad loves so much.

While fans would love to see Bear’s kids grow up in Alaska, that seems unlikely because it seems as if Discovery Channel put the show on hiatus or it’s been canceled.
