The Little Couple alum Jen Arnold shared some photos of her father, David Arnold, this weekend as they celebrated a special day. TLC did show some scenes of David and his wife, Judy. Read on for more information about Will and Zoey Klein’s grandfather.
A Special Day With Family
The TLC show focused on Bill and Jen, both little people, who adopted their little people kids. But, fans also learned that Jen had extended family. In fact, she mentioned how grateful she was that her aunt and uncle and her parents survived Hurricane Helene last year.
This year, on April 12, she shouted out her dad, David, as it was his birthday. Taking to her Instagram profile page, she shared some throwback photos, but one that fans liked a lot showed him with his daughter, his wife, Judy, and Jen’s family.
In her caption, the neonatologist wrote:
Thanks for passing down your sense of humor, your dad jokes, and your undeniable talent for falling asleep mid-movie. You’re older today, but don’t worry—you’re still young at heart! Wishing you a day filled with cake, laughter, and maybe a nap or two—you’ve earned it! Love you dad!
Jen Arnold also tagged @flyinlionandfriends because years ago, her dad wrote a series of books for kids.
What Do We Know About David?
Although we know something about the family from the show, more details about Jen’s mom and dad arrived in her book that she co-authored with her husband Bill Klein, “Life Is Short (No Pun Intended).”
An extract noted that back when Jen was born, her dad was just 21, and it was a difficult birth. Her mom and dad revealed that they weren’t expecting a sickly little person, but although they “were young, practically broke, and very naïve…they got through it all with strength and perseverance.”
Both of Jen’s parents worked at a supermarket in St. Petersburg, and he was head over heels in love with Judy. However, it was only when they discovered a mutual love for horses that they bonded. These days, every fan knows how much Zoey Klein loves riding the beautiful animals. In fact, you might recall that both of the kids learned to ride on Jen’s mom and dad’s property.
Fans To The Birthday Post
Jen Arnold might not be on the show anymore, but fans adore her. Not only does she share medical advice, but she also shares her life and the lives of Bill, Zoey, and Will. So, they turned out to send their well-wishes to her dad.
One follower wrote, “Happy birthday to your wonderful dad,” and many similar greetings were posted.
Another fan said, “So…blessed to have so much in your family.”
