The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) inch closer to another chance at their romance.
The Y&R fans dubbed the couple Philly. The fans loved them together, stating they had heat and passion between them that most of the other characters lacked.
Phyllis and Billy have grown closer in the past few months. First, Phyllis was working with Billy at Chancellor Industries.
Then he fired her to make his mother, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), happy. It wasn’t long after Phyllis’ firing that Jill sold Chancellor Industries to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), enraging Billy to the point of obsession.
Phyllis Has No One
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Phyllis has backed herself into a corner and doesn’t have many allies. She is unemployed and looking for a big payday, somehow. Phyllis has latched onto Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) in hopes that he will appoint her CEO of one of the companies he has acquired.
Cane plans to take over Newman Enterprises, Chancellor Industries, Jabot, and Winters. It’s a big goal, but he is confident he can pull it off.
It seems unlikely he would agree to hire Phyllis. He is probably using Phyllis to get under Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) skin to throw the Newmans off. He cannot take over Newman Enterprises and Chancellor Industries without beating the Newmans somehow.
Billy’s Obsession With Chancellor Industries
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Billy appeared to move on from Chancellor to his own company that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) bankrolled. Apparently, the company, Abbott Communications, is just getting off and going. He promised to name Sally Spectra, his girlfriend, the CEO.
That could change because Billy is still obsessed with Chancellor Industries. He wants to work with Cane to get the company back into his hands.
His obsession has gotten so bad that Jack has threatened to pull the funding for the new company, which would kill the project altogether.
After it is said and done, Billy will likely lose Sally and Abbott Communications. Sally has been clear; if Billy ruins the company before it launches, she will walk.
Billy And Phyllis Collide
With everything going on in both Phyllis and Billy’s lives, it won’t take long for them to join forces. If Sally leaves Billy like the Y&R fans anticipate, they could lean on each other for comfort. They might fall back into old habits and become a toxic force together.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Billy and Phyllis will continue to stick close to Cane, hoping he comes through for them. They trust he will hand over one of the companies he acquires to run, giving them the power they both crave.
