Days of our Lives weekly spoilers for January 12-16, 2026, reveal Rachel and Sophia upping their game, while the DiMera troubles are only just beginning.
Can Rachel Ever Get Better?
Poor Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) wants to do the right thing. She got the truth out for what she did to her Uncle EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) and her mother is now free, but Rachel is still in Bayview and quite bored. At least she has Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) there to be a bad influence, which won’t held Rachel’s situation at all.
Whn Sophia asked Rachel for a favor, Rachel is anxious to impress so she comes up with another plot and scheme with Sophia.
When Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) visits, he can see that Rachel is in better spirits and wonders what brought it on. A concerned Brady talks to Rachel’s doctor, but what does he learn?
Brady confides in Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and tells her that he is still worried that something is not right with Rachel, so he asks for Marlena’s help. Oddly enough, Jeremy Horton steps in and talks with Rachel. Is that good news or bad news?
Rafe On The Case
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and his kinda meh investigative skills are out in full force this week when he questions Dimitri Von Luechner (Peter Porte) about where he has been.
Dimitri weaves a tall tale that Rafe does not believe, so he needs more proof of wrongdoing. That prompts Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) to attempt a break-in to get pertinent information.
Cat also questions Gwen Von Leuchner (Emily O’Brien) because she knows this woman is up to something. Gwen seems to trust Cat, as does EJ. They have no idea what she is really up to because Cat does not seem like an ISA agent at all.
Other Salem Happenings
Ariana Horton (Marissa Reyes) insists that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) join a sorority with her, but can they do that while on academic probation. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey)confronts Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) on how he has treated Brady.
Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) is also frustrated with Xander and vents to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). And finally, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) opens up to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about his torn feelings.
