Days of our Lives weekly spoilers for January 26-30, 2026, tease the return of EJ to Salem, along with some answers about the crypt.

EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) returns from his time in Europe visiting his daughter, Sydney DiMera.
She seems to be doing better now that she knows that her father is okay, so EJ feels he needs to get back to his mysterious lab business with Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton). As soon as EJ gets home, the DiMeras finally learn who those bones belonged to that they found in the crypt.
EJ also starts sparring with everyone. He lays into Gwen Von Leuchner (Emily O’Brien) for bringing Dimitri Von Leuchner (Peter Porte) back to Salem without his permission.
He also has words with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), who has already offered Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) help in bringing her brother down. She still an’t believe she went to Statesville for no reason, all because EJ couldn’t have patience.
Later in the week, Krisen’s moment of truth comes when Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) has to make a statement about the shooting. Kristen and Belle Black (Martha Madison) try to their best to prepare the little girl.
Kristen also puts Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) on notice, which prompts Sarah to be honest with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Uh-oh.
Other Salem Happenings
It’s pretty clear to the audience that Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) is not the person stalking Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Alex Kirkias (Robert Scott Wilson), but they still suspect him. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) told them that they can’t be sure, so they forge ahead with their plan to lay a trap for whomever is sending those threatening fan letters.
Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) gets good news this week when she learns that DiMera Enterprises wants to publish her book. Titan’s loss in Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) gain. Johnny and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) also share some quality and romantic time together before the stress of her pregnancy rears its ugly head again.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) has a busy week when she works with Liam Salejko (Hank Northrop) again, before getting disturbing news from Rafe. And finally, both Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) celebrate milestones.
