Is this General Hospital star running out of money? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder when it comes to Kelly Monaco, who was once best known for her role as Sam McCall on the hit ABC soap.

It’s been well over a year since Kelly was last seen on the canvas. Not only that, but it also seems like she’s been clearly unemployed during that time, too.
This has prompted a lot of people to wonder if Kelly Monaco might be under some sort of financial strain or if worse, she might be running out of money. And if she is, how is she sustaining her current lifestyle?
As many of our loyal readers can recall, there was even a push by General Hospital fans to keep Kelly Monaco on the soap.
A lot of people protested the decision to take her off the soap and even threatened to boycott General Hospital altogether if the producers refused to reverse their decision.
Well, nothing ever came about from that and while some people were hoping that Kelly would be hired on one of the other three major soaps that are still on the air, that never happened, either.
What’s Next For Kelly Monaco?
At this point, it’s safe to say that Kelly’s acting career is over, which is why there are so many people who are concerned about her well-being.
So far Kelly Monaco hasn’t made any comments about the speculation but at this point, it’s doubtful that anything will be said. After all, the former actress has kept very quiet about both her personal and professional affairs ever since she was given the boot from the soap.
But then again, that hasn’t stopped fans from worrying about her and wondering if she will ever go back to the daytime television world, let alone acting, too.
After all, Kelly has always been a household name to soap fans so to see her disappear like this is very concerning. Or at least, for her fan base.
