The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers indicate that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is trying to get her new fashion house up and running.
Katie has already talked to Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) about joining her team. However, Katie is about to get a surprise that the Forresters will undoubtedly blame her for when Eric Forrester (John McCook) joins Logan.
Eric Forrester Was Forced To Retire
Eric was forced into retirement by his son, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), along with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
Afterward, Ridge offered to finish Eric’s latest line with him but Eric wanted no part of that after being pushed aside.
Eric agreed to try retirement for a while, but he did not promise to stay retired. Eric told Ridge that Forrester Creations was his now and he walked away.
However, it was obvious while Eric was at Forrester on Christmas Day that he still has that desire to teach, the urge to mentor his young designers and he truly wants to keep working.
Ridge Forrester And Brooke Logan Forrester Need A Reality Check
Ridge and Brooke are furious over Katie winning the patent on the Logan name. Ridge and Brooke argued that Forrester Creations owned the patent but they had allowed the patent to run out over a year ago. Ridge and Brooke were furious when Katie managed to secure that patent thanks to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Eric has seen the was Katie was treated by Brooke and Ridge after the Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) scandal fallout. Ridge hired an outside PR firm and Katie was pushed out.
The outside firm took over and never stopped. Ridge and Brooke continued to allow this and cut Katie out of all the loop and never allowed her to have her position back. Eric can certainly sympathize.
Eric Forrester Joins Logan
Eric has seen everything that Katie has been through when it comes to her job. Eric has also been forced to leave his job at Forrester Creations. Katie’s fashion house is a chance for Eric to make a fresh start. Eric has thought about what happened and has offered to help Katie because he feels like she deserves a chance.
Eric may want to keep his involvement quiet for a while but when the truth about his new job comes out, Katie will certainly get the blame. Would it not be nice to see Katie, with Eric’s help to come from behind and win this fashion war against Forrester Creations. Will Eric and Katie prove their worth in the end?
