The Young And The Restless spoilers suggest that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may end up addicted to his pain meds after his accident with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Nick has suffered a terrible leg break in the car accident caused by Matt. Nick’s doctor has offered some not so optimistic updates on his condition.
Nick Newman’s Leg Surgery
Nick survived his leg surgery and seemed to be doing really well. However, Nick was suddenly hit with a wave of pain so severe that he asked Sharon to get the nurse because he seemed to need some more pain meds to make his leg stop hurting so badly. Could Nick be hurt a lot worse than the doctor seems to think?
Something could be coming up to suggest the diagnosis may be something worse. Could this possibly be leading to a drug addiction story instead? This accident could lead to a drug addiction that could blow up Nick’s whole life.
Could Matt’s return lead to Nick having an issue that leads to Nick becoming addicted to pain meds to get through this accident recovery.
Nick Newman’s Nurse Acted Strange
When Nick was brought into the hospital and taken down for tests, his nurse acted very strange while commenting to the family about Nick’s problems.
Could Nick’s nurse have possibly been working with Matt to get Nick addicted to drugs? Nick could easily have been given Fentanyl to get him addicted to the truth?
Matt is still asking questions about Nick and about Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) which leads one to believe that he is still up to something.
Nick’s leg still giving him such issues after surgery points to the same. Has Matt planted someone at the hospital to mess with Nick while he is there? Is Nick about to get hooked on drugs because of Matt’s interference again?
Matt Clark’s Return Leads To Nick Newman’s Addiction
Matt’s return could tie into a downward spiral that uncovers Nick’s addictive personality much like his mother Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Nikki fell into a downward spiral after she was kidnapped and fed alcohol by Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) months ago.
Has Nick found himself in a similar situation as his mother months ago when she ended up falling back into her addiction? could Nick’s addiction be part of the obstacle that Nick and Sharon have to go through in the future before they get their lives back on track.
Could Nick’s problem be how Nick and Sharon end up finally getting back together?
