Actor Chris Pratt seems as if he leans into his “peak dad” era. Of course, he’s famous, and well-known for being a Marvel action hero. But, insiders claim his top role these days, is as a dad. Well, he recently took a break from filming and made a rare appearance with his son, Jack during the Super Bowl. Read on for more details.
On The Field At Levi Stadium
Last weekend, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Chris Pratt and his son, Jack Daniel, stepped onto the field to help kick off the festivities. Actually, it seems that the 13-year-old is the spitting image of his dad when he was younger.
Notably, Chris was there to announce the start of the game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. During the introduction, the actor grabbed the mic, leading the crowd as they roared about the “NFC champions.”
Meanwhile, Jack, who stood next to him, looked happy to be at the game, and all ready to get into the spirit of things.
Reality Tea noted:
Frankly, this is the kind of memory that probably goes straight from the family group chat into a proper scrapbook, and at least a handful of embarrassing future stories.
The ’12’ Jerseys
Notably, the day out wasn’t just a random celeb cameo. After all, Chris Pratt grew up as a die-hard Seahawks fan in Washington. And ever since he was a kid like Jack, he’s been active as a fan.
Naturally, when he took Jack onto the field while both sported matching “12” jerseys, the moment probably felt like a full circle.
A Rare Public Appearance
Obviously, fans felt thrilled to see the duo, as Chris and his ex-wife, Anna Faris, generally keep Jack out of the spotlight. Until now, folks very rarely saw them together on social media.
However, now that Jack’s a teen, it seems that Chris finds wholesome ways of involving him in the excitement of his career. And, being a celeb leading the cheers at the Super Bowl is maybe just the beginning.
The ‘Everwood’ Connection
For long-time fans who remember Chris as Bright Abbott on Everwood, seeing him as a seasoned “football dad” is a bit of a trip down memory lane.
Back then, his character as the high school jock revealed a person who honestly wanted to be a better person than he really was. Or, he wanted to be the person he really was but, you know – pride and jockishness!
Nowadays though, he’s the one proudly standing in a stadium enjoying a special dad moment. In other words, he was Bright, but now, he’s enjoying “brighter days,” per a quip on X.
