General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is furious with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) for even considering a romantic relationship with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
The fan base seems to be mostly in alignment with her. Brook Lynn and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) have come a long way since the days of sabotaging each other and cat-fighting every time they bumped into one another.
Now, Brook Lynn is going to bat for Maxie even when she’s not in the room — and against her presumed best friend, to boot! I have a sneaking suspicion that Maxie is going to hear about this would-be love affair sooner than later if Lulu doesn’t stop it dead in its tracks like Brook Lynn warned.
Maxie Pushes Pause
It’s reasonable that Maxie is going to need some time to digest the information Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) has just given her about Nathan being alive.
It’s also reasonable that she may need more time to process it even after seeing him. Maxie has no idea how laying eyes on Nathan is going to make her feel, and she may be feeling the same anxiety over that moment as Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is.
If she is determined to get back on her feet and get on with life, having Nathan as some part of it, what does that look like?
GH Spoilers Say Lulu and Nathan Go Full Speed Ahead?
While it might look like these two had a slow start — from friendship blossoming into flirtation, to a drunken kiss evolving into wherever they are now — make no mistake that Nathan seems very intent on getting to the bottom of his feelings for Lulu.
She, on the other hand, seems a little more reserved about all of this. Did Brook Lynn make matters worse by demanding that Lulu snuff out her curious feelings about her best friend’s husband? Will that only drive Lulu to want to buck Brook Lynn’s suggestion more simply because it’s coming from her? Will the added pressure of having to hide their feelings from Maxie make them feel like they have more cover to fully explore them?
Hi Pot, Meet Kettle
Brook Lynn has been chastising her hubby, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), as of late because he can’t seem to keep his nose out of Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) business — and that bothers his wife for a few reasons — the least of which is that her husband is working against her cousin, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
But will Brook Lynn look like the pot calling the kettle black if she can’t manage to stay off Lulu’s back and stop prying as a means of looking out for Maxie? Chase certainly didn’t hold back on how he felt about Michael’s behavior when Willow was on trial.
