The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Do Taylor And Steffy Have The Right Kind of Chemistry?
Well, at least that’s what a lot of viewers can’t help but wonder when it comes to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). You either love them, hate them, or just don’t understand them together.
While both are certainly great characters in their own right, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if they have the right kind of chemistry that convinces everyone that yes, they are indeed mother and daughter.
Because right now it’s hard to tell who is who when they are standing next to each other, right? But that’s mostly because it’s Steffy who is always trying to guide her mother when it comes to her love life. Not only that, but she’s also trying to tell her what to do, even though it’s mostly none of her business.
Clearly, a lot of B&B fans had a lot to say about this dynamic. Some even commented with, “Steffy looks older than Taylor and acts like she is her mother telling her what she can and can’t do. They are more like sisters.”
Another critic wrote, “I see this version of Taylor as reticent and as a believable doctor. Is she flawed, sure. Does she have selective amnesia about getting shot by Sheila absolutely but to be fair it was a different actress so maybe there’s a soap opera recast syndrome in which feelings and personalities change with recasting!”

And then there was this comment as well: “ If they truly wanted to go for a younger actress while still having a motherly feel to the character, they should have got Gina Tognoni. She worked great as Phyllis on Y&R.”
Then again, fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
